Our Story
Born out of a passion for Central Texas–style BBQ, Diamond 9 Barbecue began in 2014 as a humble backyard pop-up while owner Pudge Padgett was stationed at Fort Lewis, WA. After years of refining our craft, we’ve grown into a full-service BBQ restaurant and caterer.
As a combat veteran who found solace in the art of cooking, Pudge sees BBQ as more than just food – it’s a way of life. Our journey has brought us to Wartrace, TN, where we’ve built a restaurant that reflects both our Texas roots and the warm, welcoming community that’s embraced us.
